  • How old do I have to be to apply for a trial internship at Magnet-Schultz?

In order to be able to complete a trial internship with us, you must be at least 15 years old at the time of the internship (legal requirement for the employment of young people according to JArbSchG).
However, practical contact is already possible at the age of 14.

  • How far in advance should I ideally apply for a trial internship?

Applications are possible all year round. However, due to the limited number of internships, it may happen that certain professions are already taken. For this reason, please also indicate alternative periods, if possible.

  • What happens to my application after I have sent it?

After we have received your online application, you will automatically receive a confirmation of receipt. We will do our best to give you feedback as soon as possible as to whether we can make your trial internship possible. However, we ask for your understanding that it takes a few days to check whether we have sufficient capacities available in the desired period.

  • How am I insured during the trial internship?

For a trial internship during the holidays, we need a copy of your parents' private liability insurance policy. For compulsory internships during school hours, the school usually provides insurance. In this case, we need a copy of the insurance confirmation from your school.

  • Where does the trial internship take place?

For the most part, you will be at our main plant in Allgäuer Straße 30. As we have a second plant in Memmingerberg (A.-W.-Schultz-Str. 1), individual days may also take place there.

School cooperation

The transition from school to the world of work is a big step, which we support with numerous career guidance measures. That is why we have entered into a so-called school cooperation with a total of seven schools in the near region. The aim of this cooperation is to establish close links between schools and training companies. At numerous events within our company as well as at the local schools, we offer the opportunity to get to know the different professions, to look at the workplaces and to try them out.
